Get to know the Blue Heron

About Sonja Luoto

Sonja is drawn to Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) for its holistic approach. She loves the way that Donna Eden looks at (and sees) the body as an intelligence that has a capability to heal itself. Unlike many other healing modalities, EEM teaches people to get in charge of their own health thru energy exercises, that are easy to do at home. Sonja’s energy session can be seen as a jump start to your home practice and selfcare. Either way, you’re in charge. Let me guide you into the flow of the Great Blue Heron.

“When I found Donna, the creator of Eden method, everything changed. She showed me that energy is all there is. If you want to heal anything in your life, you need to start working with your body’s energies”

OUR STORY

Why the name Blue Heron flow?

To many native people, Blue Heron’s meaning is associated with supporting yourself or being your own pillar of strength even if you’re standing on one leg. Herons represent longevity, persistence (SISU for Finns), and autonomy in Celtic traditions.

Sometimes our bodies need a little nudge, but we have an innate ability to heal. Or as Donna says, our bodies want to heal, our energies want to become in balance. My passion is empowering people to get in the flow of life where there’s more joy and less struggle.

To me, Blue Heron symbolizes a call to balance the opposites: science and magic, seen and unseen, physical and energetic. Our lives are full of these polar opposites causing friction, yet both are needed, in moderation and harmony.
